Call for nominations for the Student Award 2017
PhotonicSweden (PS) and the Swedish Optical Society (SOS) announce the Student Award 2017
The prize will be handed over in the frame of the Optics and Photonics Conference (OPS) which takes place on the 18/19 October in Kista, Stockholm
Background:
PS and SOS have established a prize for students in the field of photonics in order to promote research in photonics especially related to R&D with industrial impact.
Any person who is active in the field of optics and photonics may apply for the Student Award. The award consists of a certificate and a cash prize of SEK 6.0
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- A description of the innovative R&D work or the master/bachelor thesis, making clear the nature of innovation potential impact to industry/society
The application deadline for participating in the Student Award 2017 is the 31st of August 2017.
