Deadline for abstracts:  15 of September 2022
Authors are requested to submit an abstract of a half to one page (font 11, including figures and references)
Contributions will be accepted for poster presentation.

Required poster size: The posters should have a maximum size of DIN A0 (841 x 1189 mm) preferably in a portrait format (not landscape format). Pins and similar pads will be provided by the organizer. All authors are requested to register for the meeting separately from abstract submission.

The doors to the Universum entrance are open 07:30-17:30 weekdays.

Anyone who wants to ship items from Universum must use the same address as for incoming goods, i.e. Servicegränd 12, 907 36 Umeå.

This address goes to the back of the Universum.

This address/entrance is also suitable for those who come with goods in their own car.

To get there, from Gösta Skoglunds väg, drive into ”Servicegränd”. This is located by the western biology house. Access takes place at the Biologi parking lot, around the western Biology House, via the Berget parking lot. At the end of Servicegränd is the entrance to the right of the loading dock. It is also open at the same times as above. Once inside, a short corridor leads to the Brashörnan. Then you are automatically on the ”correct” floor and do not need to use the elevator.

Possibly packaging left over from unpacking equipment on Tuesday 4^th October can be collected in a corner of the premises and this will be carried into a suitable storage room when staff arrive on Wednesday morning. Packaging produced during Wednesday morning will be dealt with in the same way, at the appropriate time, by staff.

EXHIBITION and JOB FAIR

The exhibition at the conference Optics and Photonics in Sweden 2022 at Umeå University function at the same time as a job fair for Bachelor/Master/PhD students . It will take place on 5 and 6 October in the exhibition area.  All exhibiting companies welcome students (graduates, undergraduates and Phd students) to discuss jobs, internships , etc.

Additionally, companies have the possibility present their master thesis topics and internships! If you have a job offer, internship offer or Bachelor/Master thesis topic, you can display it in our Info corner on poster boards in the exhibition area.

All master students can visit the exhibition and info corner for master thesis and internships  for free
