event, Deep Tech Atelier, that brings together entrepreneurs, scientists and technology developers,
investors, government, and public organizations. NOP focuses this year, among other topics, on
quantum, optical fiber, sensors, and imaging.

Abstract template
Together with PhotonicsFinland and PhotonicSweden, the Nordic Optics and Photonics (NOP) Conference will be held as part of the Deep Tech Atelier. Quantum, optical fiber and sensors will be the main focus. Abstracts and speakers’ presentations are expected and will be given on the following topics: Advanced Materials, Optics & Spectroscopy, Photonics in Manufacturing, Laser Technology, Quantum, Optical Fibers, Sensors, Photonics in Life Sciences, Security and Safety, etc. NOP will be held in parallel in two sessions – industry and academy.
There will be a poster session as well as exhibition stands. Therefore, Bachelor, Master, PhD students, as well as postdoc and more senior researchers, have the opportunity to present their posters. The Conftool system is designed to submit an abstract for the opportunity to give an oral or poster presentation of your research. The best theses will be selected for an oral presentation.

For the second year – European Space Agency (ESA) Days event will also be part of DTA, on 20 – 21 April 2023.
Nordic Optics and Photonics Conference (NOP-2023)
Among other activities, this year DTA will host the Nordic Optics and Photonics (NOP-2023) Conference with the main focus on quantum, optical fiber, sensors, and imaging, on 19 – 21 April 2023. Nordic Photonics & Electronics Forum (as part of NOP-2023)
The representative office of Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in Sweden is looking for a partner who can identify, approach and attract Nordic, and especially Swedish photonics and electronics companies. The aim is to promote the photonics and electronics sectors in Latvia; to establish connection between Nordic (focus on Swedish) and Latvian companies with the goal of cooperation; exploring Latvia as a business location for investment. It will be held in Riga during 19-21 April. More info will come.
