On May 10, we have an event here in Lund centered around Prof. Johannes Rydberg’s work (Rydberg’s constant, Rydberg’s formula, etc.). We have since 2004 with the support of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences organized Rydberg lectures here in Lund, and on May 10 we will have one again according to the attached advertisement. Furthermore, just before the lecture, we have the inauguration of the Old Physics Department as a European Physical Society Historic Site, where EPS President Dr. Luc Bergé will perform the inauguration.
The lecture by Prof. Jun Ye, NIST and the University of Colorado, deals with precision spectroscopy and extremely accurate time measurement.
