This is our biweekly Excellence cluster update.
The past two weeks have focused on strengthening the foundation for the future excellence cluster.
Dialogue with national actors: We took part in Vinnova and VR’s joint session on the Excellence Cluster program (link) and followed up with discussions on how the photonics initiative fits into the broader national landscape.
Dialogue with other cluster initiatives and key infrastructures: We have met with representatives from several parallel cluster initiatives as well as some of Sweden’s leading photonics research infrastructures to explore synergies, shared needs and potential collaboration models.
Learning from earlier programs: Input from people with experience from previous national platforms is helping us understand what contributes to long-term sustainability, effective governance and genuine industry engagement.
We are now refining the first outlines of the Knowledge Hubs and demonstrator formats, while continuing the structured dialogue with stakeholders across academia, industry and the innovation system.
