KTH Royal Institute of Technology
KTH, in particular at Division of Micro and Nanosystems, and Department of Applied Physics, carries out extensive research in several photonics areas including biophotonics, quantum photonics, laser physics, and photonics chips.
Lund University
At Lund University, photonics research includes optics, spectroscopy, laser technology, and practical optical design. Their educational programs cover areas like communication, diagnostics, and nanophotonics. Research centers includes Lund Laser Centre and NanoLund.
Chalmers University
Chalmers University, in particular the department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience, conducts extensive photonics research, including quantum photonics, wide bandgap optoelectronics, , and optical communications. Research centers includes FORCE in optical communications.
