AI accelerates photonic integrated circuit development requiring fast, reliable high-volume characterization. EXFO will showcase scalable, flexible automated test solutions, deliver high optical performance while ensure quality, traceability and speed to efficiently empower PIC innovation.
Sophie Lange is a business development engineer at EXFO since 2021, specializing in PIC testing solutions. Previously, she was a researcher at Microsoft Research in Cambridge (2018-2021), focusing on ultra-fast tunable lasers for optically switched data center architectures. Sophie earned a PhD from TU Berlin, developing high-speed InP transmitter PICs at Fraunhofer HHI. She also holds an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree, graduated in 2012 from Aston University in Birmingham and Scuola Superiore Sant’-Anna Pisa, with her master’s thesis completed at Osaka University.
